Instructors Posing with Award

Check out our Award Winning Swim Lessons!

Aquatics International recently chose River Road Parks and Recreation District for their annual "Best of Aquatics" awards. This year we are being awarded for our Lesson Training Program. Since 1990 we have been striving to provide our community with quality instruction with our Learn to Swim program. We have spent countless hours training our staff to make sure that you, the community, is receiving the best possible instruction in our classes. We are extremely excited to have received this award and look forward to continuing to strive for excellence.

Swim Lessons

We believe all children need to learn to be safe in the water. Swim lessons can begin a lifelong love of aquatic activity. Research shows that children who learn water safety skills also reap benefits in overall cognitive, physical and emotional development…and it may also save their lives! However water safety education must be done correctly, following established skill upon skill development taught in a loving, fun and positively reinforced environment.

Glen Falconer Swimming Scholarship

The Northwest Legends Foundation, in memory of their friend, Glen Falconer, is pleased to sponsor the Glen Falconer Swimming Scholarship. By funding this scholarship, the Northwest Legends Foundation is striving to provide children with a positive outlet for their energy and endow a proactive program through swimming—a life-long activity loved by Glen. For more information, contact Dale Weigandt, 541-688-4052.

Parent’s Day/Progress Report Day

Parents of students enrolled in swim classes will receive a parent’s day flyer towards the end of their children’s class session. This flyer will identify registration info for future sessions.
