Tips

Arrive 10-15 minutes early.
We will leave on time. You may get left behind if are late so please allow yourself enough time.
End times are estimated.
Please park vehicles in the back of the parking lot, near Lake Drive.
We use motor coaches when possible. When we do, it is customary to tip the driver $2-3 cash.
Make sure you have emergency info/contacts in your wallet.
Some are allergic to perfume so we ask that you keep your fragrance to a minimum.

Sisters Harvest Faire

Our annual trip is here! Now in its 35th year, this faire brings together over 200 juried vendors of handcrafted quality arts and crafts.  This was a total hit last year so you don’t want to miss out this go around. You will be able to explore the food booths and enjoy all the entertainment on the streets of downtown Sisters.  Lunch will be on your own. Your cost includes: transportation and snack.

Time to check out a new theater company in Salem! It gets good reviews so we are excited to see this production in their amazing old downtown theater. Prior to, we will enjoy a nice dinner out on the town. Sweeney Todd has become a bloody, worldwide success since being awarded eight Tony’s, (including Best Musical), for its Broadway premiere. Painted Lady Holiday Tea Time

What could be better than having a Queen’s High Tea in a 115 year old Colonial revival home located in Myrtle Creek? Going during the holidays!!! Veterans Day Parade & Celebration

Come with us to the largest Veterans Day parade west of the Mississippi.  For more than 60 years, Albany has been honoring veterans with a parade.  This will be the most inspiring, touching tribute to our veterans you have ever seen.  We will start the day off with the parade.  For the parade, you will need to be able to walk with a lawn chair that you bring.  We could be standing or sitting for a couple of hours.  After the parade, we will head to Frankie’s for lunch. Chef Cody Utzman, a two time champion from the popular food network show “Chopped” will be preparing our meal. Everything at Frankie’s is made fresh and in house. It will be a delectable, mouthwatering adventure.  After lunch we will take you past the Peoples Tree in front of the court house; the Christmas tree that will be going to the White House.  Your cost includes: transportation, and lunch.

Little Shop of Horrors - Pentacle Theater

Get ready for a fun evening! This comedy will have you in stiches. A horror comedy rock musical about a very hungry plant and the flower shop worker who raises it. Salmon Celebration at the Thyme Garden

Don’t miss this year’s guided Salmon Walk and Herbal Dinner at the Thyme Garden in Alsea. Come and experience this beautiful event when the salmon come back to their spawning grounds to complete their life cycle while starting a new one. Then feast on a six course homemade herbal dinner from appetizers to dessert. The day will start at one o’clock with appetizers and beverages followed by a walkabout to see the salmon spawning in the streams. Wear comfortable walking shoes if you plan on doing the walkabout. Holiday Dine Around

Get ready for a very special evening as we embark on our first holiday dine around. We’ll begin by traveling the short distance to Crescent Park. This is where you will enjoy happy hour and your first course of appetizers. From here, we will travel the back roads in search of holiday lights, as we make it to our next stop- River Road Park District.  This is where you’ll indulge in a delicious main course and some cheery, musical entertainment. End your evening at Campbell Center for a decedent, holiday dessert bar. This trip will get you in the holiday mood, for sure! Your cost includes: transportation, a three course meal and holiday entertainment.

1940’s Radio Show at the Broadway Rose

The Broadway Rose in Portland is where we will enjoy tonight’s performance. Step back in time to Christmas Eve, 1943, as the Feddington Players present A Christmas Carol live on-air. After an endless stream of interruptions, technical snafus, and theatrical missteps threaten to tank the broadcast, the company improvises a film noir spin on the classic Dickens tale. Sprinkled with swing arrangements of Christmas standards and original songs in the period style, A 1940s Radio Christmas Carol is the festive comedy to sweeten your holiday season. Your cost includes: transportation, show and dinner after the show. We will be departing from the Annex- 1055 River Rd.

Spectacular Shore Acres Christmas Lights

This Christmas season would not be complete without the Shore Acres Christmas lights experience.  We will journey to Coos Bay where we will have a pre lights dinner at the Portside Restaurant.  After dinner we’ll proceed to Shore Acres to walk through their wonderland of 300,000 plus Christmas lights. We’ll also visit the garden house for a hot drink and some cookies and of course a stop at the gift shop will be in order. Paint Party with Thinking Tree & Thirst 2 Create

Take a trek to Thinking Tree Spirits; a craft distillery in the heart of the Whiteaker District in Eugene. It is here where we will indulge and participate in a fun paint party by Thirst 2 Create. All art supplies and instructions will be provided for you to “Snow Crocus” on a 16 x 20-inch canvas. You’ll paint Crocus bursting into bloom while snow is still on the ground. Come paint this glimpse of Spring. This is a great beginner piece and you’ll receive very good step by step instruction. You will have an opportunity to taste and purchase spirits while creating your very own masterpiece. Your cost includes:  transportation, all needed art supplies, step by step tutoring and appetizing food spread created by Kat.

Cancellation Fees

If you cancel and want a check refund, $5 will be deducted for admin processing. No cancellation fee for refunds in the form of a credit. No refund will be given if you cancel the day of the trip or if you're a no show. No refund or a partial refund will be given once River Road has incurred costs for booking trips (tickets, meals, hotel, etc. ).
