Arrive 10-15 minutes early.
We will leave on time. You may get left behind if are late so please allow yourself enough time.
End times are estimated.
Please park vehicles in the back of the parking lot, near Lake Drive.
We use motor coaches when possible. When we do, it is customary to tip the driver $2-3 cash.
Make sure you have emergency info/contacts in your wallet.
Some are allergic to perfume so we ask that you keep your fragrance to a minimum.

instantPaint Party with Thinking Tree & Thirst 2 Create

Take a trek to Thinking Tree Spirits; a craft distillery in the heart of the Whiteaker District in Eugene. It is here where we will indulge and participate in a fun paint party by Thirst 2 Create. All art supplies and instructions will be provided for you to “Snow Crocus” on a 16 x 20-inch canvas. You’ll paint Crocus bursting into bloom while snow is still on the ground. Come paint this glimpse of Spring. This is a great beginner piece and you’ll receive very good step by step instruction. You will have an opportunity to taste and purchase spirits while creating your very own masterpiece. Your cost includes:  transportation, all needed art supplies, step by step tutoring and appetizing food spread created by Kat.

Red Ridge Olive Mill

Did you ever wonder how they get oil out of an olive?  Today you will learn the whole process.  Located in the heart of Dundee Hills this state of the art venue offers a wonderful mix of old world charm & modern convenience.  We will have their official blue glass tasting with a guided tour of the Oregon Olive Mill, and introductory tasting of their 4 estate milled extra virgin olive oils using official EVOO competition tasting glasses.  Your cost includes: transportation, tour, tasting and lunch.

Bob’s Red Mill Rendezvous

One of Oregon’s most unique and fastest growing companies – Bob’s Red Mill.  How did they get to be the leader of whole grains? How does the process work and why is it good for us?  All of these questions and more will be answered on this tour just outside of Portland.  This is a window tour so no need for special clothes or shoes. There are chairs all along the way in case anyone needs to sit down.  The friendly Grain Guides will accompany our group to explain what you are seeing.  Afterwards we’ll enjoy a fresh, delicious and nutritious lunch at Bob’s and take a look around the visitor’s center.  Bring some extra money so you can buy some of the wonderful products at the whole grain store and bakery.  You’ll also have the chance to run across the street to Dave’s Killer Bread Store. “Nunsense”- Broadway Rose

A great dinner and show is always a hit so don’t wait to sign up for this fun evening. Join the Sisters of Hoboken (well, what’s left of them, that is) for a hysterically haphazard variety show to raise emergency funds for the convent. With hilarious talent acts, tongue-in-cheek musical numbers, and help from the audience, Nunsense has blessed theatregoers worldwide for over 30 years and is the second longest-running Off-Broadway show in history. Believe it or Not

Today we will head to Newport for a day of fun! First, we will enjoy the amazing Oregon Undersea Gardens where we will go deep on a live dive in our exclusive undersea theatre at the bottom of the sea!  This is home of the largest collection of local marine life to be found anywhere.  Then we are off to the Wax Works with ornate figurines and elaborate sets.  Hundreds of sculptures, each elaborately molded and detailed, each figure is created with incredible attention to detail.  Get ready for an incredibly fun day and be prepared to be amazed.  Your cost includes transportation, entrance fees, and lunch at Mo’s.

Irish Green Celebration @ The Annex

Exploring Woodburn!

Do you love going through someone else’s house? Here’s your chance!  The Jesse H. Settlemier house is a Victorian/Craftsman home built in 1892 and it is believed some of the former residents who called this historic house home have never really moved on.  The Victorian manor house is located on nearly 3 acres of beautiful landscaped ground in Woodburn and today we will have a guided tour. We will follow up by having a great lunch at a local Woodburn restaurant and a stop at the Woodburn Museum.  Your cost includes transportation, docent led tour and lunch.

Spring Hanging Baskets

McKenzie River Nursery is our destination for this fun class! They will teach us everything we need to know to make our own beautiful hanging basket.  They supply soil, plants and container.  The baskets are left in their warm greenhouse and grown until May. We will pick them up in May, big and beautiful and you will come retrieve them at the park. Your cost includes: transportation, large hanging basket class, lunch and basket pick up from the nursery.  We will call you when it’s time to pick up your basket up at the park.

Tip Toe through the Treasures & Tulips!

Today we start our fun day with a stop in Mt. Angel. We’ll do some antiquing before we make our way to the seemingly endless, colorful field of tulips.  Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm is our main destination and has fields of gorgeous tulips that will blast you with color.  We’ll take a field train - cushioned ride through the tulips. You can purchase cut flowers, potted bulbs and pre-order your bulbs so bring some moola with you. There will be other unique vendors too!  We’ll wrap this one up by enjoying an incredible lunch together on our way back home. Your cost includes transportation, parking, train ride and lunch.

Portland’s Lan Su Chinese Garden

Today we visit China without ever leaving Oregon. Once inside the garden walls, you’ll feel as if you’ve traveled through time to another era in a faraway world. We return to the beautiful city of Ashland and the wonderful Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Summer Time in Leavenworth | August 7-9, 2019

Leavenworth in the summer? Ohhh ya!! Wait until you see what we have in store for you. If sipping wine, eating great food and enjoying theater in an outdoor amphitheater sounds good then this trip is for you. We will be staying at the Enzian Inn, right in the heart of things. We’ll be busy during our 2 night stay but you will also have free time to do as you please. It’s the perfect mix. Day one- A fun ride up, a delicious lunch and wine tasting at a vineyard, followed by a wonderful dinner once we reach our destination. Day two- We will head out to a reindeer farm where we will get to enjoy and learn about this beautiful, endangered species. The afternoon will be yours to shop around in town and we’ll meet up again for dinner and theater.  Day three- A fun ride home. Your cost covers everything except one lunch. Cancellation Fees

If you cancel and want a check refund, $5 will be deducted for admin processing. No cancellation fee for refunds in the form of a credit. No refund will be given if you cancel the day of the trip or if you're a no show. No refund or a partial refund will be given once River Road has incurred costs for booking trips (tickets, meals, hotel, etc. ).
