YOU control the environment and the type of massage - from deep tissue sports conditioning to a gentle, soothing touch. Aqua Stretch™

Aqua Stretch™ utilizes assisted stretching and myofascial release techniques – in a one-to-one shallow aquatic environment – to increase flexibility and, in many instances, to reduce chronic pain.
Aqua Stretch™ has helped individuals experiencing:

Lower back, neck, joint or muscle pain, including
arthritis, headaches & fibromyalgia.
Idiopathic pain or nerve dysfunction, i.e., ovarian pain, plantar fasciitis, etc.
Soft tissue prep, for synergy with massage, chiropractic, OMT and cranial work.
Post-surgical rehabilitation, i.e., meniscus, hip and knee replacement, post natal, etc.
Pain management programs, including accidents,
combat & sports injuries.
Scoliosis and other spinal complications, including
degenerative or herniated disks.
Psychological – may reduce anxiety, PMS, etc. May also increase mental clarity.
Sleep problems.

Services for Adults Age 55+

Foot Care

A nurse, trained in foot care, conducts individual half-hour sessions. The time is used for toenail cleaning and trimming. Please bring a towel and a basin with you to your appointment. No refund for no-shows or cancellations unless we are able to fill your appointment slot. In fairness to the nurse and other clients, those who arrive more than 10 minutes later than their scheduled appointment will forfeit their spot and fee.

SHIBA Volunteers Here to Help You

Are you confused about Medicare? Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance (SHIBA) offers a free counseling service. SHIBA volunteers have been able to help Medicare beneficiaries select a plan that is right for them. Call 541-736-4421 to make an appointment in the River Road area.


Blood Pressure Check

Have your blood pressure checked on a regular basis by a professional nurse. Third Thursday of every month. Held at River Road HealthMart Pharmacy, 884 River Road. 541-636-3522.

Donate Blood

Come on over and save a life. Each single blood donation can help up to three Lane County patients. Donors must be 16 years of age or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. AARP Safe Driver

Designed for motorists age 50+, but open to all ages. Auto insurance discounts available to participants 55+ who complete the class. You must repeat the class every two to three years to requalify. There are no tests. Fee collected by the instructor. Feel free to bring a sack lunch. Please note price increase.

The library is home to over 12,000 books for adults and children. The library offers a Winter and Summer Reading Programs. It's quick and easy to become a member.
